Gonzaga's Blackboard system transitioned to a new version and a new location on May 10th. We have combined the three separate Blackboard systems, the JesuitNet Blackboard (http://jesuitnet.blackboard.com), Gonzaga's Blackboard (http://blackboard.gonzaga.edu), and http://blackboard.yakima.gonzaga.edu, into a single location. The migration to the new server is complete, it is available at http://learn.gonzaga.edu

Faculty

If you have taught courses using this site, your courses were exported and then imported into the new Blackboard site. Since this new site is a later version this export/import process may cause some problems with the course content. Some documents named using special characters such as apostrophes, quotes, pound symbols, etc. may not have made the transition.

After May 10th, the current Gonzaga Blackboard server will be decommissioned but still available for faculty to reference grades and retrieve course materials.

You can log in using the same Gonzaga username and password you used for the old site. It is highly recommended that you take the training available for the new Blackboard. You can sign up for it here: http://www.gonzaga.edu/gutraining

Students

Starting with the first Summer term, all courses will be taught using the new Blackboard server.

After May 10th, the current Gonzaga Blackboard server will be decommissioned but still available for students to reference grades.

Since it is a newer version, you may refer to the Student Guide to Using Blackboard 9.

If you are enrolled in a course on the JesuitNet Blackboard server, your courses have been cloned to the new server. This server is nearly identical to the JesuitNet Blackboard server with the exception that you now log in with your Gonzaga username and password.
